# Honey Soy Sauce Chicken Thighs (Air Fryer Recipe)

## Ingredients
|
|
|
|
- 4-6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
|
|
- Salt and pepper to taste
|
|
|
|
### Sauce
|
|
|
|
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
|
|
- 1/4 cup honey
|
|
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
|
|
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
|
|
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
|
|
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
|
|
- 1 tsp cornstarch
|
|
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
|
|
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
|
|
|
|
## Instructions
|
|
|
|
1. **Make the sauce:**
|
|
- Whisk all sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
|
|
- Simmer over medium heat, stirring until thickened (2-3 minutes).
|
|
- Remove from heat and let cool.
|
|
|
|
2. **Prepare chicken:**
|
|
- Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper.
|
|
- Brush generously with sauce, including under the skin.
|
|
|
|
3. **Air fry:**
|
|
- Place thighs in air fryer basket, skin side up.
|
|
- Cook at 380°F (193°C) for 16 minutes.
|
|
- Flip, brush with more sauce, cook another 16 minutes.
|
|
- In the last 2-3 minutes, brush with a final layer of sauce.
|
|
|
|
4. **Serve:**
|
|
- Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
|
|
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
|
|
|
